Carmel Shields, Managing Director
Carmel Shields is Managing Director of Shields ProCare, focusing on business development and corporate strategy. The company services and manages a full spectrum of medical equipment for clients seeking to optimize technology, reduce costs and streamline point of contact and accountability while retaining control of patient flow and operations. The organization employs clinical imaging engineers, software and biomedical technicians and support staff. Carmel previously served as Chief Operating Officer for the Shields MRI Network, Oncology Services and Dialysis Business, and as a Fiscal and Budget Analyst for the House Committee on Ways and Means, Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Carmel holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University, a post graduate degree in Environmental Law from University of Sydney (Australia), a law degree from New England School of Law, and a bachelor’s degree from Boston College. She also serves on a number of not-for-profit boards including Yawkey House of Possibilities, Stonehill College, and Board of Overseers’ of Boston Children’s Hospital.

Steve Brune, Field Service Engineer Manager
Steve joined Shields ProCare in 2010 with extensive training and experience in MRI/CT engineering, PACS Administration and oncology equipment on multi-vendor platforms such as Varian, Siemens, and hy-brid vendors.
Steve earned Six Sigma certification and has previously worked with Varian Medical Systems and New England Health Imaging.
Steve holds a degree in Electronics Technology from DeVry Technical Institute, CA.
Kelley White, Service Operations Manager,
Kelley has successfully managed medical and customer service operations, and electronic tracking software.
Nick Durant, field engineer with a depth of training, knowledge and education in software and hardware analytics, network and remote access capabilities.
